The Capitol Dome Project

Because I am a geography nerd, I often come up with themed travel ideas that almost no one else would ever want to participate in.  This latest may well be one of those, but frankly it strikes me as interesting enough to justify follow-through.  So here it is.

Over the course of - well, to be perfectly honest I don't know how long this might take, but it could easily be quite a number of years - I plan to visit every state capital in America.  And, specifically, I plan to visit the state capitol building, and have my picture taken with those buildings (all or nearly all of which, I'm assuming, will have domes of one form or another, hence the title of the project).

Exciting?  Probably not.  Interesting?  Maybe just to me.  Weirdly obsessive?  Perhaps.  But here we go anyway.
